...Yeeeah, those guys that go about being famous with fame all attached to them wherever they go and stuff like little parasites, what's up with them? People know who they are because of things they've done that invites attention, like when a child gets on the potty for the first time.

Though imagining for example, oh I dunno, Russell Brand on a potty, that's not as sweet or worthy of praise. See, things like that are things we want to avoid, no one wants to see that unless you have some sort of sick fantasy of seeing Russell on a potty, some life fulfillment for ya, some relief off of your conscience that you've finally seen Russell Brand doing a wee in a child's potty.

It's something that you're more likely to come across if searching for stuff on Google and coming across porn or something, an easy mistake, "Oh Russell, sorry, I forgot to knock!" and getting all embarrassed because it wasn't your fault, it's not your fault if you look up 'strawberries and whipped cream' as a delicious snack and come across those very ingredients upon the naked body of a 25 year old porn star.

Blimey, you only wanted snack idea for your dinner guests, this is totally innapropriate.

Anyway, enough of that rhubarb, I'm 'ere to talk about famous people. [as you may be able to tell I might have been watching Russell Brand prior to this blog entry, I can assure you, I've not gone wrong....much].

Yeah, so, famous people aren't really that much of a big deal. For example, my boyfriend reckons that so many people wouldn't be as attracted to Noel Fielding if he wasn't on the telly and all famous and that. Think about it, Noel Fielding:

noel, buzzcocks 2

He's not your conventionally attractive bloke is he? The thing that stands out most is a bit obvious - the nose. He isn't ugly [well, I don't think so!] but imagine you just saw him walking down the street and you didn't know he was THE Noel Fielding [I do not worship him...!], would you still find him attractive? I mean, you might not even find him attractive normally but a lot of people do!

And as partial proof, a lot of people [well, about 3....] have said that Noel's ugly before they've seen the Boosh then changed their minds after they've seen him in it. But is that just because humour is attractive? Ah... [I think that is the reason actually]

And seriously, you don't even need to have done much to be famous anymore, take Chantelle or Jade Goody off Big Brother, they've done nothing and they're still famous. They have literally JUST been on a telly programme. Yes, they've both had books out and things but what have they DONE to be actually famous? Nothing! Big Brother launches so many peoples' careers and I don't know why.

It's like watching me for months and what happens in my room, what the eff? Suddenly I'm famous. I swear it didn't used to be like this, you had to actually do something to 'be allowed' to be famous like have some sort of talent, abilty or skill you aquire that makes you interesting and sets you apart from everyone else.

Like Russell Brand, famous for sex  being funny, Noel Fielding for being funny, Kurt Cobain for being able to play tunes on a guitar, that sort of thing.

Famous people don't even bother me that much in real life anymore, sure, I do get excited but it isn't much different from when I meet a guy I fancy or something who is a completely unfamous person that I happen to admire. And the autograph thing, I never really got that but I still do ask for one but only if they're doing a signing/meet and greet/someone tells me to. The picture, I think, serves as a perfectly fine reminder of your time together, much like a crush!

I also like to ask for autographs if they sign the ticket for the show I went to ie. Russell Brand's autograph I have from when I saw him July 30th in Bournemouth because it's so suitable. Just like when I keep train travelcards and tickets of when I go to shows because it's a nice reminder, just like Russell Brand signing a Russell Brand ticket is. If it was just a piece of paper for instance then it wouldn't be as 'sacred' and special, see?

But, I am the sort of person that likes to see the writing of someone I like, I even like seeing my own and how it used to look when I was smaller.

However, asking for autographs when they're not expected to sign anything like if they're out doing some shopping is a bit out of order, they only went out to buy some chips, leave them alone!

But yeah, to wrap this up - famous people aren't really that much of a big deal, sure they may be talented, funny, skilled etc but so are other people like plumbers, clothes designers and photographers that aren't famous. It's just a label and the TV screen is tricking you into thinking it's more than that, it isn't.
