I've had a crush on Lance Dior since about the 2nd time I saw The Power of the Crimp and I don't know why!! I think it was his voice and the fact that he really does look similar to Noel when he has his wig on. The facial features aren't as pointy but he has some bits, you just have to look at his face and the way he's built.
Lance Dior = Vince Noir's copier in one episode of The Mighty Boosh by the way...
I've not really seen him as Tom [his real name] before, only on the backstage bit of the new Mighty Boosh DVD when he's getting done up as Lance! Oh and in a couple pictures of him in Google, this is my favourite:
I should have blogged about this since December when I first saw him but it never occurred to me.
I also seem to be the only one with this view that he's all attractive and yum but I don't care, I still love the bloke!
Oh and it's obvious that Tom doesn't look ridiculously like Noel but in some shots both of them actually look more like the other, observe:
Also, still Lance Dior related, there's a scene in the deleted scenes of the DVD that I would have loved them to keep in, not just cause of Lance but cause it was really funny!
[Vince and Howard are in a crimp off competition with Lance and Harold]
"Howard, I can't go on...I've dried up!" [referring to his mouth]
"What's happened?"
Vince points at Lance and Harold and they laugh evilly while holding crackers.
