SohoDolls

Why?
-------
They are one of the best bands I've heard! Slow electro with a couple of songs being fast-paced and the lead singer is awesome - really good voice, and sexy too.

Peaches

Why?
-------
She uses a lot of electro rock and I loooove electro rock! Plus, loads of her songs are seckshual but I like her for the sound, genius.

Mindless Self Indulgence

Why?
-------
They're insane. They're also quite electro but more electro punk/hard rock. You can headbang like hell to them but still enjoy the lovely electro, mmmm.

IAMX

Why?
-------
One of the best bands I've encountered. Electro [I see a pattern developing, kids!] and sexual but in a different way to Peaches, with IAMX it's the voice [very haunting/intense] and the lyrics are sexual but not so blatantly sexual, I like subtlty!

Robots in Disguise

Why?
-------
They're just really fun!! They're colourful and bouncy with a childish spirit and it's lovely! Electro pop these guys are, I reckon. Some of their tracks are more rocky though.

Kindle

Why?

Refer back to a previous post about him to see why. Seriously, this man is just amazing. 'Killing Time' is my favourite one!

Mechanical Cabaret

Why?
-------

They're really good and the melodies in their songs are sometimes really beautiful and lovely. They're a mix of electro and rock and the lead singer has one of those deep voices that really draws you in, not too deep though, not like freaky Barry White deep.

The Horrors

Why?
-------
Do I even need to explain myself here? I love this band as a number of my posts have indicated. They're dark, fun and exciting as hell! The band members I love too, watch any of their tour diaries and you'll laugh, go 'awww' and go probably at the same time.

Hopewell

Why?
-------
Hopewell are a mixed genre and I love that. They're mostly rock though but not hard rock like what I'm used to. They bring different instruments in like strings, pianos and stuff. They're a band I could listen to and fall asleep rocking out to.

Klaxons

Why?
--------
Surely most people know about Klaxons now? I just like their music and I find the vocals quite unique to things I've heard, they're lovely.

      But Limewire is good, I always use it! I only buy albums when I'm properly into the band, last one I got was probably The Horrors and that was late last year.
      
      Technically though, it was Kindle's album that was being sold at their gig but it wasn't a proper album I don't think.

I love IAMX
The klaxons are literally unknown over hear, although i love them
I've never heard of peaches or mechanical cabaret...

  Peaches is much better than MC, and MC aren't that well known really, I only saw them by chance at a SohoDolls gig and fell for the lead singer and his hair.... I'm only mad about that one song though, the rest are just alright. =]

      I found them out cause when I was with my ex last year, we wanted a night out in London but didn't know where to go so I looked on a London website and the venue The Borderline came up and it sounded like good music so we went.
      
      I looked up the bands beforehand and I really liked the sound of Hopewell! Saw them live, they were ace! My ex even went up to the bassist after and said they played really well.

I also love limewire with my life. the new Robots album was the first actual physical CD i have bought in 4 years. Sue Denim told people to 'buy the fucking album', so I did. she has quite a hold over me ya see, I do love her alot.
yeah not so keen on Peaches though. Love Soho Dolls and IAMX.

  I bought Kindle's album mainly because I was drunk and it was thrust in my face so I went to get money. For some reason I don't like buying things people are offering but looking back, I would most definately buy that album twice over if they wanted me to.

Amazing song.

And Robots In Disguise! I was meant to go see them in febuary but I couldn't go cos it was 16+
