Top 3 story choices: Poll

These are the the top 3 stories that I'd love to write on this blog next in no order. If your idea got chosen, congratulations:

1) Buckbed Buttsecks 0 have said yes

2) Schoolboy!Goth Detectives 6 have said yes

3) Schoolboy!Horrors 7 have said yes

Just tell me what one you want to see happen in the comment box and I'll raise the number by one next to whatever one you choose. Oh yeah, I DON'T have to know you for you to vote, if you're interested then just do it, regardless of if you're a stranger/stalker of this blog.

Voting ends on July 13, shall we say? You have exactly a month! Should be enough time to get lovely juicy votes. If it gets forgotten about then I'll cut it short and just pick the one in the lead.

Oh and I still wanna do a Tim Minchin story, just not as much as the others so I'll write Tim into a story properly at some point and mail it out to the list, promise.

I think i vote for... SCHOOLBOY HORRORS!
Because i love the idea of schoolboy russ, or schoolboy Noel, but i don't like the the pairing that much...

Could you explain the use of the word "innit" to me? I see it a lot in strange places, I have no idea what it means. I'm going to go sit in my corner and feel uncultured now. >.

  Here you go, cause I can't exaplain it.. All I know is it derives from the phrase 'isn't it?' but isnt always used in that way.
  
  Contraction of "isn't it", "isn't he/she", "aren't they", "isn't there" and many other end-of-sentence questions. For greatest effect use in places where it would make no sense whatsoever if expanded.
  
  2. General positive exclamation meaning "yes, I agree!"
  1. "Hey dere's some pigs in dat cop car over there innit?"
  "Yo look at my new car innit!"

    That's exactly the reason it was so confusing, I have no idea what they're saying half the time because saying "isn't it" at the end of that particular sentence doesn't sound right. It's like learning the quirks of Spanish all over again. *flail*
    
    On a different note, hurray for me finding a store that sells Strange House. I had to pirate the CD prior to this and only found live versions for most of the songs. Now I feel significantly less dirty when I'm listening to it (I haven't figured out if that's good or bad yet).

When you're writing these chapter by chapter, do you find setting deadlines helpful? I'm wondering if I'll get more done by forcing a deadline for each bit, but then I've mostly been letting Blackbird write itself.

  Honestly, yes and no, but mainly yes. Yes because it actually forces me to write it cause usually I'm incredibly lazy and it would get done really late and inconsistant. But sometimes no because when I'm not in the mood to write it and I have to, I feel a bit preassured. BUT at least it forces me to write it and I like that sometimes...unless I'm really not in the mood.
