Love, humour and 'tainted' food... What lovely ingredients for an MSI sims story!

This is my first sims story I've done that actually went well! I think I've only tried one before with Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt but that was when I first got The Sims 2 and it wasn't as good at all.

You don't have to know who Mindless Self Indulgence are, know what they're like, like them, hate them etc for the story to still be enjoyable. There's one bit where I do like 2 lines of song lyrics but you don't have to know the song or anything, they're just words, they won't affect much!

This isn't going to like replace my blog story in any way either cause it won't get updated as often at all, part 2 will probably come in a couple weeks or more.

Sidenote: the lovely Erin has reminded me that I didn't set the graphics to high when I reinstalled it so if the graphics look a bit shit in some pictures, that'll be why. =P I'll sort it for part 2.

 

Mindless Self Indulgence, the real versions.

 

Let's start with a picture of Steve being fascinated over the snow outside.

 

Steve loves snow apparently.


 
Kitty's favourite element is rain because she loves splashing about in the puddles it leaves.

 

She also loves drums. Not that strange seeing as she's the drummer in the band.

 

Here's "The star of the show!" in his own words working on a new track.

 

He may be good at composing but his table manner sucks.

 

And last but by no means least, it's Lyn-Z! She's found playing darts helps her release any tension she may have.

 

Which is good cause she was shocked as hell when she read the tooth fairy was a fake.

 

But don't worry, movies about killer cats will calm her down.

 

This is her farting when coming out of the shower...classy.

 

"DANCING RULES!!"

And yes that is a Mindless Self Indulgence top. Lyn-Z, you're so vain, stand in the corner.

 

Good. Now, back to other things...

 

Someone's been putting things in the food, the main suspect is Jimmy.

"This tastes a bit off..."
"I feel like I'm gonna hurl."

 

So Lyn-Z confronts him about it.

"Why ya'll always have to blame me? I didn't do it!"

Lyn-Z is so cautious with food now that she even suspects an empty plate of being dangerous.

 

Compliments are everywhere in this house, it's so nice.

"You rock at drums."
"Thanks so much!"
 
 

And some vary on just being weird.

"Nice package."  
"Aww, thanks."
 
 

Jimmy has an eye for Lyn-Z so it seems and he invites her to dance in their underwear.


 
Jimmy Urine, subtle as ever...

 

Jimmy also has someone else on his mind, Jill Smith they met in town.

 

Looks like the Euringer charm worked.


 
"You ever considered a career in nipple modelling?"
"Uhh... What?"
 
 

Finding Jill a bit too weird even for him, he hits on Lyn-Z.

 

They dance together, fully clothed this time! To their own music...

 

Getting in the band mood, they all have a jam.

Back to Steve and Kitty, Steve tries out a joke on her. It fails.

 

"Since when is joking about paedophiles wrong??"  

Like...all the time?? You don't say that to people you like, you ass!

Alright! No need to glare! Dancing is meant to be fun!

 

Things are progressing well with Jimmy and Lyn-Z after he just barges in her room and kisses her when she has a guest standing right there.
 
 

The Euringer charm works its magic once again.

 

But Jimmy kills it.

"This one time I made out with a bulldog for 5 simoleons."

What is up with the men in this house being so un-romantic??

 

"Steve, could ya...?"
"Yeah yeah I get the hint."

 

Hands up who predicted this??

 

"So yeah, you wanna make this official?"
"Sure."
"Cool...that means I promise no more drugs in your food."  
"What?"
"Love you."

 

He lied...

"That's right Lyn-Z, eat up, there's enough hash in there to make you pretty silly."

 

Ohhh dear...
 
 

It might be a weird relationship (one where Jimmy has to drug her for kicks) but they are cute together.

 

Steve finally confesses to Kitty after getting way to jealous of Lyn-Z and Jimmy.


 
Steve serenades Kitty, much to her heart's content, nyaww.

 

"Feel that sweet beating? It means you're in love."
 "I feel it"

Additional info:

Jimmy occasionally wants to fall in love with Kitty and Jill when he isn't getting enough attention from Lyn-Z. 
Everyone is attracted to everyone at least a little bit, heterosexually anyway, none of them went gay
 Kitty loves cooking
Jimmy once left for town forgetting to change out of his boxers
This one woman (Jan something) has phoned the house about 4 times asking for Jimmy, they had only ever spoken like once.

I also downloaded a schoolgirl outfit for Lyn-Z cause she likes dressing in a school-girl esque style for gigs with her hair occasionally in bunches so I'll take a pic of that while she's playing bass and put it with the next part.
