Okay recently I decided to help out with spreading the word of Kindle a bit more because I've shown a lot of support as a fan and stuff. He's not very well known so obviously it'd be a good idea to get more people to know about him and discover that they actually like him rather than to never hear the word 'kindle' unless it was in reference to fire or lights.

Okay so I thought to myself, I usually hate when people tell me to check things out when I don't really know much about it before, so why am I doing this if I hate people doing it to me? I think what people need to learn is to try something before they dismiss it, myself included. I mean, it's like with food, I am very picky and won't even usually try something if it looks horrible. But really, unless you're very lazy or something, clicking on a myspace link I give you isn't really a big deal, you don't even have to watch anything, it's music! Go do something else on the computer as it plays! If it interests you, then find out more about him, simple as.

Think of a really famous band, or...think of The Mighty Boosh for instance. They had to start off somewhere then by word of mouth and more people getting told about it, they've succeeded beyond their expectations and are selling out shows everywhere. Not everyone is going to be that successful, that's just an example, really!

The reason I'm doing this is because I really genuinly think he can go far with a bit of awareness and attention. I'm not telling anyone to like him at all, just to see what they think. If they like it then that's awesome and if they don't think it isn't the end of the world, there'll be other people. It's like, imagine no one ever found out about chocolate. A lot of people like chocolate now, and if they never tried it, they'd not know. The only way people know about chocolate is because people are saying it's tasty and it's being advertised all the time. So therefore  Kindle is....like chocolate? *strongly rethinks approach*

I don't think I'd try this hard to get people to know about him if I didn't really like him. I mean, who else do I like? I like Marilyn Manson and not like he needs promotion but if I was decided to help promote him if he was just starting out or something, I wouldn't be this enthusiastic about it by any means.

I think I want to do this because he's like something I've not really heard before and it's nice to have a change from the typical stuff you hear out there. Plus, he tries his hardest out there on his own and it still comes out sounding very good.
