It's come to my attentionz that I've been talking about Kindle for around 9 months now but have never actually reviewed him in a professional manner; this is to be rectified now.

My love for Kindle started when I managed to bump into him at a fast food shop after a gig he DJd at in January 2008, I didn't know who he was but he told me to come to his next gig at the same place and I'll be honest: the only reason I said yes was because he was attractive and I was a bit drunk, so was all enthusiastic about going and told everyone. Now I tell everyone because I think he's really talented and want to get his name about more. Nice change, eh?

Sticks' music review on Kindle:

[Begin...]

As soon as Kindle steps onstage, the first few beats of his electro creations take over the room and make the stage his. It's like you're being told to listen with no words being exchanged. He stands there, electric guitar clinging to his torso and he's ready to begin.

The pulsating electro beats, not dissimilar to an irregular heartbeat, weave themselves around the crowd and tease their eardrums as the guitar joins in, and the true magic of his composition takes shape.

His presence onstage is made more powerful by the low lighting and the bright lights that are placed on the floor by his feet, making him seem intense and like he's the one in control of everything in the room.

If you close your eyes for a bit while listening to Kindle, it's like he's taking you on a beautiful magical journey through worlds previously undiscovered and you can just sit back and let the music take you there.

He is somewhat of an enigma because his music has very mysterious undertones and at times, it doesn't seem all that real.

His music is the kind that I could imagine as the soundtrack to a suspense movie, one with a few twists and a surprises on the way. It's intense and just grabs you, you know?

What I see when I see Kindle perform live is a talent right before my eyes, morphing from a normal man getting up there with his guitar to something mesmerising that you can't take your eyes off.

The first time I saw him perform, I couldn't actually take my eyes off of him. I had no idea what to expect from him, but he delivered and I wanted to see more of him and I'm so glad I managed to.

That ends my overall review on the genius that is Kindle. I think you'd really like him yourself if you're into electro or rock in anyway, cause he incorporates them both into his music.

Visit www.myspace.com/k4kindle for more info, tracks and upcoming gigs. The next one is this Sunday at Underworld in good ol' Camden.

14+!!! Underagers, that's you!!
