The webcam goes on and I can see him, he has his top off.

Me: "Why are you covering your nipples??"

Darren: "So I won't scare you with too much nakedness."

Me: "I don't mind about nipples!!"

He slowly uncovers his nipples.

That's just an MSN convo that made me laugh. I love that man, so cute. ^_^

Okay so anyways, The Mighty Boosh...

I've loved The Mighty Boosh since I first saw them in 2004 on telly, you know, before lots of obsessives found Noel Fielding rapably [well it's a word now, alright?!] attractive and before they were selling out shows faster than anything and anyone.

I've always loved them, really, but since I went to their book signing last Monday, I've gotten into them a bit more again. It was a lovely Booshy atmosphere there and surprisingly, not too many OMGFIELDINGs. Though actually, one girl behind me said, and I believe this is verbatim: "Oh my god, we're breathing the same air as them!" That made me laugh cause that kind of quote usually only comes in a fictional setting as it's very stereotypical!

Anyway, most of the crowd were so Booshy: one girl played Boosh songs/bits of dialogue on a little speaker as we waited, she also had a giant Charlie made out of paper on wheels, which was genius! We were given Mighty Boosh quizzes [which I think I could have won if I gave mine in in time] and I was just generally excited!

Oh and there was a guy dressed up as The Hitcher that came and gave us bananas and called us slags and things all the time, he was brilliant! He only spoke in The Hitcher's voice too and told a 15 year old guy I knew that he'd do him.

I'd met them before but I still got a bit shaky, heart was beating fast etc. One girl apparently fainted upon giving her book to Noel to sign, which I thought was also too stereotypical for words. What next? Someone asking Noel to sign their chest??

That bit of the day just got me in such a good mood... I barely spoke to Julian or Noel as we didn't have much time to stop and talk, but what I did say to them both was that it was for a friend in Canada cause we were only allowed one thing to get signed so I got Erin's done instead of mine.

I told Julian this and he just continued writing. I said this to Noel as he wrote:

"Noel?"
"Yeah?"
"This is for my friend in Canada that couldn't make it today."
"Aw cool, I've got family in Canada, Vancouver."
"Really?"
"Yeah, where's your mate from?"
"Um, somewhere in Ontario."
"Cool."

That day had reawakened my Boosh love a bit more.

Really thinking about it, they really do make me laugh. Things they come out with in the show and stuff, it's really funny and I love the way Vince and Howard are together!

Watched an episode of it for the first time in quite a while and I actually laughed out loud several times.

With The Boosh cause I've seen it so many times [episode-wise], I still found their things funny but never really laughed out loud to the episodes.

I'm trying to dismiss the fact that The Boosh are becoming a 'trend' and a lot...a LOT more people know about them now, cause it's still the same guys that I first saw in 2004, they just got a bit more famous. I do admit their earlier series 1 stuff was more original but they aren't shit now, they're still funny.

No matter how many people jump on the Boosh Bandwagon, they'll still be really funny guys who I can be proud to say I saw when they first aired on TV on BBC3 at night.

I've also basically cut off my exposure to magazine articles and such about Noel Fielding cause honestly I don't give a shit, it just makes me think worse of him when I hate the media anyways. I don't care what he does and I don't want to know what he gets up to on nights out, true or false.

He's just Noel Fielding, that guy from The Mighty Boosh that I find really funny. And who I occasionally take the mick out of AS A JOKE.

Oh yeah, 'rapably attractive' has so become a phrase in my vocabulary starting from... now.
