In several ways than one.
However, the main point I wanna talk about is the fact that what he said about xmas in a song about xmas is exactly what I [and a great many people I suspect] think about it. It's not only that I agree with him, it's that he says it in such an intellectual way, meaning, he uses big words and stuff.
This is taken from 'White Wine in the Sun' which is basically a song that talks about really liking xmas just cause he gets to be with his family, even though he isn't religious and some things about xmas are ridiculous.
'And yes I have all of the usual objections to consumerism, the commercialisation of an ancient religion and the westernisation of a dead palestinian press ganged into selling PlayStations and beer...but I still really like it.'
'I don't go for ancient wisdom, I don't believe just cause ideas are tenacious it means that they're worthy.'
'And yes I have all of the usual objections to the mis-education of children forced into a cult institution and taught to externalise blame and to feel ashamed and judge things as plain right and wrong.'
Listen to the song here:
Sianny

You already know I agree absolutely with you and Tim, but seeing as there weren't any other comments, I thought I'd tell you again.
So: fuck yes! You talk sense girl.
